Beverly Gardens is a park in Beverly Hills, California, located at 9439 Santa Monica Blvd. It was founded in 1926 and has been held by the City of Beverly Hills ever since. The park has a total size of about 1.9 miles. There are numerous varieties of trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses, ponds, fountains, seats, paths, and other landscaping components throughout the park. There are two playgrounds, one for kids and one for adults. The park also includes a memorial garden for those who died in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City.
Several yearly events take place in the park, including the Beverly Hills Christmas Parade, the Beverly Hills Flower Show, and the Beverly Hills Film Festival. Throughout the year, it also holds a variety of special events such as concerts, festivals, and community gatherings.
The park bears the name of its owner, the City of Beverly Hills. The park got its name from being part of the estate of William Wrigley Jr., founder of the chewing gum corporation Wrigley’s.
The park underwent major upgrades in 2011. New lighting, paths, and seating places were installed as part of this project. The park was named “Best Park” at the Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation Department’s Annual Awards Ceremony in 2012.

The Rose Garden
The rose garden is located in the park’s center. A masonry wall with a wrought iron fence surrounds it. It comprises almost 1,000 roses that were planted in the early 1930s.
Playground for Children
The children’s play area is near the park’s entrance. It has a large sandbox as well as swings, slides, and climbing platforms.
Memorial Garden for Veterans
The veterans’ memorial garden is located in the park’s southwest corner. It has several monuments honoring veterans from all wars.
Memorial Park
The memorial garden is placed near the park’s intersection with the street. It contains a memorial to the victims of the September 11th attacks.
Other characteristics
The park contains various walkways. Some of these routes connect the park to streets nearby. Other trails will take you to the park’s parking lot.
The park also has a number of fountains. One fountain is positioned near the playground for children. A second fountain can be found near the rose garden. A third fountain can be seen close to the veterans’ memorial garden.
